About Detrivore Cosmetics

Detrivore Cosmetics was started in late 2008 by the zombie Distorria. She died in early 2007 after an unfortunate incident with a chainsaw and a angry girlfriend. Unable to re-enter the workforce due to her tendency to eat other employees discrimination against the undead, she decided to pursue entrepreneurship. After carefully thinking about her options, she decided on cosmetics because she was a vain zombie and loved dressing up.

Despite her tendensy to slather on a lot of makeup, most makeup she bought had been a horrible disappointment to her. It never seemed to live up to the color in the packaging, the price, or never managed to offer much coverage or adhere all night long. So she did some intense research and created her own line of products.

Her interest in animals continued after her gory death. Detrivores are creatures who eat detritus which is decomposing rotting organic matter. Detrivores are also known as detritivores. Animals like millipedes, flies, beetles, crustaceans, and polychaete worms are considered detrivores. As a zombie, her diet also consists of rotting organic matter and the word just seemed to fit.
